Las Sendas is located in Mesa, the county of Maricopa and the state of Arizona.
The Mesa master planned community of Las Sendas, which translates to “the paths,” lives up to its name in its mission of “celebrating the community of nature and man.” Enter Las Sendas Mountain and you find a charmed environment equally blessed by the genius of man and nature. Built on 2,400 acres against the boundary of the Tonto National Forest, it is 36% natural or man-made open space with miles of footpaths, hiking trails and bike paths on which desert wildlife and centuries-old Saguaros coexist with delighted hikers and joggers. One of the “Top U.S. Communities” three years running, from 1997-1999, by the National Association of Home Builders Sales and Marketing Council, there is literally something for residents of all ages at Las Sendas.
The golf course is a true “Wild West Course,” where strategy plays a major role in its conquest. Adjacent to the course is a full service Grille, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and perfect for hosting special events as well.
The multi-million dollar Trailhead Members Club is an exclusive 12,000 square foot multipurpose facility built in an upscale craftsman architectural style. Inside is a state-of-the-art fitness center, pool, racquet facility, banquet and conference rooms.
The Boulder Mountain multifunctional swimming facility has two community pool centers with lap pool, separate children’s wading pool, heated play pool and Jacuzzi.
Las Sendas Tennis Center consists of two upscale and separate tennis centers overlooking city vistas, with a grass sloped stadium style court in additional to more traditional ones.
Leisure activities abound with a swim team, dance classes, self defense classes, scrapbooking, cooking classes, casino school, and golf league, just to name a few. For youths, there are sports leagues and clinics, arts and crafts and cooking camps, dance classes and Spanish camp, as well as parents’ night out for mom and dad. The entire community is integrated by miles of trails for walking to school or recreational activities, biking or rollerblading. Twenty eight acres of parks are complete with lighted basketball and volleyball courts, soccer and softball field, swings, large grassy play areas, barbecues and covered ramadas. There is a preschool on site.
